About your future role


Before you start working in our Network Management department, you will go through well-structured education that will prepare you for your new role. This role provides you with the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, combining work from home and from the office. Your local team will be based in Athens and you will be part of our talented Network Team.


Your key responsibilities in this role will be

• Being responsible for maintaining the company’s network infrastructure
• Supporting highly available transactional systems and services
• Having a solid networking background with broad troubleshooting experience, learn on the fly and be used to multi-vendor environment
• Participating in customer projects from up-front discovery and designing through configuration, implementation and post implementation support and troubleshooting
• Involving with the network infrastructure, and the planning and design of enterprise local-area/wide-area network (LAN/WAN) solutions
Performing additional job duties as required

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject
• 5+ years’ industry-related experience
• Advanced knowledge of Server Load-Balancing appliances and POS knowledge will be highly appreciated
• Applying deep experience and knowledge in identifying, assessing and recommending solutions that leverage the latest trends in technologies and practices
• Familiarity with access control models and network security
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. Solar Winds network tools)
• Professional certification CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) Route Switch, Cisco ACI or equivalent experience or CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) would be highly appreciated
• Experience in a payment related technology driven company is considered as a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Greek and English
