Networking Engineer

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

Maintain and administer network equipment
Monitor and manage network performance and integrity
Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local network infrastructure
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
Communicate and cooperate with major vendors and technical suppliers for design, maintenance, consultancy & implementation of the company's networking solutions
Maintain complete technical documentation
Communicate with users when needed
Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
Keep track of technological advancements and trends in IT networking.

Requirements

1-3 years of working experience as an IT network engineer in a relevant industry
BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or relevant areas
Professional certification (e.g. CCNA, Forti NSE) will be a plus.
Background in network administration
Knowledge of Networking, understanding customer support processes and problem solving.
Fluency in English
