Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Maintain and administer network equipment
- Monitor and manage network performance and integrity
- Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local network infrastructure
- Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
- Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
- Communicate and cooperate with major vendors and technical suppliers for design, maintenance, consultancy & implementation of the company's networking solutions
- Maintain complete technical documentation
- Communicate with users when needed
- Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
- Keep track of technological advancements and trends in IT networking.
- 1-3 years of working experience as an IT network engineer in a relevant industry
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or relevant areas
- Professional certification (e.g. CCNA, Forti NSE) will be a plus.
- Background in network administration
- Knowledge of Networking, understanding customer support processes and problem solving.
- Fluency in English
