Due to continuous growth and expansion, Sunlight Group offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract an HR Operations Professional to join our HR Operations team at Sunlight’s Athens premises. This role is essential in ensuring efficient HR operations and providing vital support to both our employees and leadership team within the region. The successful candidate will oversee HR operational activities, manage the employee lifecycle, implement compensation programs, and ensure compliance with Greek labor laws. Reporting to the Total Rewards and HR Operations Manager, this position plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive employee experience and driving data-informed HR practices.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include
- Oversee daily HR operations, including employee records management, HRIS maintanance, onboarding, offboarding, and policy implementation, to ensure a seamless employee lifecycle experience.
- Support the implementation of compensation and benefits programs, including salary and benefits reviews, benchmarking, and pay adjustments, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
- Conduct job evaluations to maintain consistent job leveling and alignment with organizational frameworks and market practices.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and insights on HR metrics to support strategic decision-making by HR leadership.
- Monitor compliance with local labor laws and internal policies, proactively addressing regulatory changes to ensure adherence.
- Identify and execute opportunities to streamline HR processes, enhance operational efficiency, and improve employee experience.
- Act as a primary contact for employee inquiries, collaborating with HR team members to align operations with broader organizational goals.
- Partner with the Payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, resolving any discrepancies efficiently.
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior HR operations role, preferably in an international environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Solid understanding of Greek labor laws and experience with HRMS/Payroll systems (e.g., Softone), job evaluation methodologies, and compensation processes.
- Expertise in HR operations, payroll practices, and compensation fundamentals.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., SAP Success Factors) and Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in reporting and data management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and a proven ability to navigate compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- A proactive problem-solver who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Fluency in Greek and English (spoken and written).
