Let's start with the role

We are seeking an individual who will manage the procurement needs of Stoiximan (Greece & Cyprus), providing technical expertise and insight for the establishment of agreements with vendors that meet business requirements.

As a Procurement Manager, you will:

• Establish the processes and procedures for the effective operation of procurement
• Supervise and lead a procurement team and delegating tasks across department when necessary.
• Interact with key stakeholders in identifying business needs, building relationships and selling the features and benefits of early procurement involvement.
• Design the annual procurement plan based on business priorities, focusing on the consolidation of purchase needs and the creation of synergies
• Ensure the on-time and according to budget execution of all procurement activities
• Manage the negotiations with vendors
• Provide guidance and post-deal support for the resolution of potential issues on Stoiximan's operations with key vendors
• Monitor and be up to date with market trends in services and materials

What you'll bring

• At least 5 years of previous experience at a similar position;
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices;
• Procurement transformation knowledge and experience;
• Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions;
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek & English;
• Critical thinking and ability to interpret and measure data;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work on tight deadlines;
• Able to collaborate with teams in order to fully identify and achieve company's needs;
• Working knowledge of finance and/or accounting in terms of budgeting & cost management;
• Excellent knowledge in purchasing software and ERP;
• Understanding of our industry. Ηands-on experience on marketing and technology services will be considered an asset;
• Ability to effectively work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, heads, directors and C-level.
