The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of " Senior Exploration Geologist" , for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Exploration Manager of the Exploration department in Kassandra.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and fully understand the technical characteristics of the project when assigned.
• Conduct geological fieldwork, including mapping and sampling.
• Supervise exploration projects as directed by the Exploration Manager.
• Analyze geological data and propose targets to the Exploration Manager.
• Provide technical leadership to the Exploration team by developing best practices.
• Conduct exploration activities with a focus on zero injuries and Health and Safety compliance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on projects.
• Provide geological support and supervision to geologists and contractors assigned to projects.
• Temporarily assume Exploration Manager responsibilities, including personnel and budget management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field (Master's degree preferred in Economic Geology).
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in the mining industry.
• Strong understanding of magmatic-hydrothermal systems, including carbonate replacement, porphyry and epithermal deposits.
• Proven fieldwork experience, such as mapping, sampling, and core logging.
• Excellent knowledge of Geographic Information System (Arc GIS preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Io Gas and Geosoft Target softwares.
• Ability to perform data modeling using 3D geology/mining software (Leapfrog Geo preferred).
• Proficient in developing detailed geological cross-sections to support exploration and resource modeling.
• Understanding of best practices in exploration, data management, and health and safety.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to travel.
