Senior Functional Tester

We are currently seeking a Senior Functional Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of applications through thorough testing, including functional, GUI, regression, and system integration testing. Experience in testing retail banking applications and knowledge of test automation principles are highly desirable for this role. If you are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy collaborative work in an agile environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain test cases for applications to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Conduct functional, GUI, regression, and system integration testing
  • Estimate test efforts for each sprint and release to facilitate effective planning
  • Communicate test findings and collaborate with the development team to ensure quality standards are met
  • Participate in Scrum meetings, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-up meetings, sprint retrospective, and demo sessions
  • Collaborate efficiently with QA Lead, Dev, and BA team members to drive successful project outcomes
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing
  • Proficiency in exploratory testing and GUI testing for different versions of Android and i OS
  • Strong understanding of system integration testing and regression testing
  • Experience in developing comprehensive test cases
  • Solid knowledge of testing fundamentals and retail banking domain
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork
  • Ability to estimate test efforts for each sprint and release
  • Proficiency in analyzing test results and reporting findings to the development team
  • B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
  • Experience in test automation for mobile applications
  • Knowledge of Web Service / API Testing
  • Knowledge of Greek language
