Team: Group Financial Reporting
Location: Greece, Athens
Contract: 15 months
Join our dynamic Group Treasury Reporting team and play a key role in driving financial accuracy and compliance! In this position, you'll take charge of managing the daily accounting tasks for Finance BV, the Group's primary financing arm, ensuring our financial data is always precise and up-to-date. You'll have the exciting opportunity to prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, making a real impact by providing timely and accurate insights that support our business objectives.
In this exciting role, you will:
- Maintain the hedge management process of the Group’s hedging activities and relevant systems.
- Support the preparation of Annual Report & Press Release notes and perform related work as required.
- Actively participate in Treasury Reporting initiatives/projects to facilitate business needs.
- Generate accounting records regarding treasury transactions for Finance BV, the Group’s main financing vehicle and ensure accuracy of the entity’s results/financial position for Group reporting purposes.
- Collaborate closely with Shared Service Center and other functions in connection with relevant financial reporting activities.
- Participate in the preparation of ad-hoc and regular reporting requirements of the Treasury Reporting team.
- Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and maintaining appropriate ICF documentation.
You can be successful in this role, if you have:
- 4 - 5 years of experience in Treasury / Financial accounting in a corporate environment or external audit (experience with Banking sector will be considered an asset).
- Treasury accounting expertise, including hedge accounting and treatment of derivative financial instruments in line with IFRS requirements
- Previous experience with SAP (would be an advantage).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA, ACA) completed or close to obtaining.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and processes as well as accounting knowledge & expertise
- Excellent command of the English language (verbal, written)
- Strong collaboration skills i.e. building partnerships and working collaboratively with others.
- General business knowledge and financial acumen.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively complex matters to non-experts.
