HR Solutions on behalf of its client, a dynamically developing provider of Advisory services related Accounting, Tax, Payroll & Management solutions in northern Athens, is looking for a Tax & Accounting Manager.

Main Responsibilities

Manage Accounting, Finance and Reporting to clients and have overall responsibility for the process.

Review the statutory financial statements under Greek Gaa P and/or IFRS.

Review the corporate tax returns (VAT, CIT, Withholding tax etc.)

Manage the day-to-day aspects of an Accounting Engagement including team and client management.

Supervise, review and design accounting processes for client’s accounting function.

Advise clients on statutory accounting and tax compliance complex requirements.

Collaborate with a team of International Accounting and Tax professionals in Greece and globally to combine diverse cross-border experience with local accounting and tax knowledge across a broad spectrum of industries.

Build strong internal relationships within the accounting team and supervise and guide accounting teams by resolving emerging issues and by addressing key subjects concerning client-related issues.

Skills & Qualifications

At least five (5) years of professional experience with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.

Academic records from a Greek or foreign university.

Strong Knowledge of Tax and Accounting legislation - Gaa P/IFRS.

Strong knowledge on financial reporting.

Strong Knowledge for establishment requirements and setup of new companies.

Strong managerial, organizational, project management, analytical skills.

Experience of managing a team and mentoring and developing junior team members.

Commitment to provide quality work and build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues, based on Ambe’s Operating framework.

Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing both in English and Greek.

Previous experience at a consulting firm will be considered an asset.
