Job Responsibilities:
Supervision : Supervise the work of accounting coworkers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze financial and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Data Accuracy : Ensure the accuracy of financial data and maintain readiness for audits.
Regulatory Reporting : Prepare and submit HKMA returns and monthly Financial Regulatory Returns (FRR) to the SFC.
Liaison Role : Act as the primary contact for financial inspection authorities, Head Office, CPA firms, and local authorized agents.
Policy Development : Assist in formulating and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
Financial Analysis : Review financial reports, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
Collaboration : Work with internal departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Audit Coordination : Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with changes in accounting regulations.

Requirements:
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial services industry for the Manager ; with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager .
Professional Membership : Membership in HKICPA/ACCA or an equivalent accounting professional body is preferred.
Software Proficiency : Hands-on experience with Oracle, Murex, or Avaloq systems.
Regulatory Knowledge : Strong understanding of Hong Kong accounting standards and regulations.
Skills : Meticulous, independent, and well-organized with strong analytical skills; able to work under pressure.
Communication : Excellent team player, self-motivated, and proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (fluent Mandarin is a must).
Availability : Short notice is highly preferred.
