Our client, a reputable hedge fund with global presence, is actively seeking an AI Engineer to join their expanding technology team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of experimental and engineering skills, with a focus on delivering end-to-end solutions in a consultative capacity. This role demands agility to swiftly explore and implement new solutions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The role:

Translate complex business challenges into practical solutions.
Collaborate directly with portfolio managers to address their development requirements.
Work alongside portfolio managers to apply AI-driven techniques in solving investment-related issues.
Develop, test, and deploy AI products tailored to address specific challenges

What you offer:

At least 5+ years of relevant experience
Excellent communication skills, capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
Ideally possess strong understanding in financial markets, particularly Equities, with a strong grasp of market data concepts.
Proficient in Python, with experience in utilizing LLMs and related NLP techniques.
Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end solutions, from defining the problem to deployment.
Experience in developing and deploying models effectively.
