Flowsophic is a start-up accelerated in App Works Accelerator, incubated in Cyberport with support from HKFYG delivering a comprehensive range of educational, technical, and marketing services to retail, corporate, and public clients in Hong Kong.
Flowclass, a brand of Flowsophic, is a platform designed for educators and tutors to build white-labelled course landing pages with the help of AI. We integrated marketing tools, booking and payment systems into the same platform so you can scale your education business and recruit more students.

Job Responsibilities
As the Software Engineer (Backed Web Development), you are tasked to:
· Design, develop, and maintain the backend infrastructure of Flowclass.
· Research the combination of OCR and Generative AI technology, e.g. converting images to actionable commands
· Optimize the performance and scalability of the system.
· Ensure the security and integrity of user data.
· Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers to bring new features to life.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends.
Requirements
· Experience of building and maintaining projects using Type Script framework.
· Proficiency in Java Script or more preferably, Type Script
· Strong understanding of good SQL database design
· Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
· Experience of SQL databases (e.g. Postgre SQL)
· Experience of working with test frameworks (e.g. Jest)
· Experience of version control tool (Git)
Additional Skills
· Experience with Next.JS for frontend and Nest.JS for backend
· Experience with developing infrastructure with AWS
· Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, container services and docker
· Experience of working with APIs of various generative AI technologies, such as Azure Open AI
· Good sense of practical UI/UX
Candidate Background
· Undergraduate degree or above; fresh graduate welcome
· A person of integrity, responsibility, and kindness
· Able to work independently with the guidance from supervisors
· Understand the importance of clean code and code review
· Have prior project development experience regardless of project size
· Preferably, have a technical project portfolio for our reference
Employment Details
Work Hours: Full-time (Mon – Fri), 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Work Style: On-site work on our office with occasional work-from-home arrangements.
