Assistant Accountant

Your role:

• Engage in month-end closing, prepare journal entries, system journal entries and inter-company balance reconciliation and handle accounting reports
• Collect and review information from fellow business units during the interim and annual results period
• Responsible for preparing consolidation schedules and reviewing disclosure notes of the interim and annual reports
• Involved in the preparation of the statutory accounts and the tax filing procedures for certain group companies
• Participate and support the Group on various ad hoc projects

To succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline
• Student member of HKICPA or equivalent
• A good team player. Flexible and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Full familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Chinese word processing is necessary
• Prior experience in Oracle accounting systems is an advantage and prior relevant experience is a plus
• Immediately available is preferred
