Associate/ Assistant Vice President, Middle Office

We are seeking an experienced Middle office associate to work in Middle office team. Reporting to our Senior Manager, Middle Office, the successful candidate will be working as part of the Middle Office team, supporting daily middle office activities.


Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate order placement and allocation for investment transactions.
  • Monitor portfolio mandate restrictions to ensure compliance with investment guidelines.
  • Conduct cash monitoring to maintain optimal liquidity levels.
  • Review fair allocation processes to ensure equitable distribution among clients.
  • Assist in investment risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Support the setup of new funds and the evaluation of new investment products.
  • Participate in client due diligence meetings and address inquiries effectively.
  • Liaise with brokers/custodians/administrators/Prime Brokers in fund management workflow.
  • Work closely with Compliance Team, Fund Administration Team and Centralized Dealing Team.
Job Requirement:
  • University graduate in related discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in Middle Office.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and issues in a time pressured environment.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Knowledge on Bloomberg, Charles River, Riskmetrics is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to details and able to handle multiple tasks/priorities.
