College Part-time Lecturer (Sport Coaching) (Ref# SCSR/pt/24-01)

The appointees will be responsible for teaching courses in the discipline of Sports Science and Sport Coaching, and performing teaching-related duties. Teaching will be conducted during day-time on weekdays. Subject areas include:
a) Sport Coaching
b) Sport and Recreation

Major Duties
The appointees will be required to:

• develop and deliver lectures and practical sessions in Sports Coaching;

• design and update course materials;

• mentor and advise students on academic and career matters;

• participate in programme meetings and contribute to curriculum development;

• participate in student recruitment activities and college events and

• engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest trends in sports coaching.

Requirements
Candidates should have/be:

• a relevant Master’s degree, preferably a doctorate degree, with substantial teaching experience at post-secondary level;

• strong knowledge of sports coaching theories, practices, and methodologies;

• excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• ability to inspire and motivate students;

• commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement; and

• working experience in sports science and sports rehabilitation will be an advantage.
