The market surveillance officer will be responsible for APAC region. Our client is a global bank seeking for someone with 1 - 3 years of experience in market surveillance.

Key Responsibilities:

analyze and evaluate client behaviours related to market abuse, manipulative or illegal trading activities
look into information from client and exchange to investigate on suspcious activities
report to compliance regarding potential market abuse activities and provide necessary information to setup corrective measures
monitor on risk controls and identify any weaknesses to business
update business by providing regular reporting where necessary

Key Skills:

bachelor degree in related disciplines
2 - 4 years of experience in market conduct or market surveillance
experience in using SMARTS or other surveillance systems
good understanding of trading procedures in Hong Kong markets
good command in English
proactive and self-starter
high attention to details
good team player
