Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a compliance program to address regulatory requirements, market conduct, and product development.
Monitor and analyze changes in legislation and regulatory requirements affecting the insurance industry, and ensure the company's compliance with all relevant regulations.
Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Provide advice to businesses regarding compliance with relevant regulatory obligations.
Identify compliance risks and implement effective mitigation strategies, and conduct regular compliance risk assessments and reviews.
Lead training programs to enhance compliance awareness across the organization.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure clear communication and understanding of compliance obligations.
Lead a team of compliance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of the compliance program on regulatory, product, and market conduct matters.
Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements
Degree holder, preferably in the disciplines of Business, Accounting, or Law.
Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance within the insurance industry.
In-depth knowledge of the insurance regulatory framework in Hong Kong, including the Insurance Ordinance, and relevant regulations.
Responsible, proactive with attention to detail, and able to work independently.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide strategic compliance advice.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with different counterparts.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably able to speak Mandarin.
Computer literate, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
