Executive Officer I

Duties
Reporting to the Director of Administration, the appointee will mainly be responsible for:
  • Performing a wide range of administrative duties related to academic, student-related, personnel and financial matters, in support of the work of the Provost and Deputy President;
  • Providing secretarial service to committees/task forces/meetings;
  • Coordinating special projects and events; and
  • Performing any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ administrative experience, preferably in a higher education institution. Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong organisational, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; high level of self-motivation with creative mindset; and the ability to work independently within tight deadlines are required. Experience in committee servicing and project/event coordination are preferred.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
