Executive Officer in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 530243) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ full-time work experience in university administration. Experience in undergraduate programme management and/or student admissions would be an advantage. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good organizational, interpersonal, communications and problem-solving skills; and an appropriate level of IT proficiency. Applicants should also be able to work independently and under pressure. They should be good team players with proven ability to handle multiple tasks and be attentive to details.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the planning and execution of new undergraduate curricula, to assist in undergraduate admissions activities and related student matters, to serve committees and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
