Our client, is currently seeking for the right candidates to join : -

Job requirements:
Degree holder in History, Museum Studies, Archaeology, Cultural Studies, or related discipline (Degree offered by diploma mills, top-up degree and distance education degree are NOT accepted)

HKDSE – Level 5 or above in English & Level 4 in Chinese OR

HKAL – Grade C or above in English & Grade D in Chinese Language and Culture/ Chinese Language and Literature OR

CRE – Level 2 in English and Level 1 in Chinese

Beginner’s level of a language other than English and Chinese is an advantage

At least 2 yrs full-time working experience in public museum or related institute with proven experience in handling museum artefact and conducting research for exhibitions on culture/ history subjects and registration of museum artefacts

Good in written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage

Proficiency in computer applications like MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Chinese Word-processing

Responsibilities:
To assist in conducting research and relevant logistic arrangement related to permanent and thematic exhibitions

To assist in conducting preliminary research on historical objects

To compile and register artifacts into the registration/ inventory system

To conduct the introduction of exhibits, guided tours, delivery of education and publicity activities and outreach programmes

To assist in general office duties

To perform any ad-hoc office duties as assigned by supervisors
