Qualifications:

• Higher Diploma or above, Graduates or students of Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Cultural Management, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Design, Architecture, or other relevant subjects; priority will be accorded to graduates or students of Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Cultural Management, Visual Arts and Fine Arts;
• Have a keen interested to assist in promoting contemporary art to a wide spectrum of audiences;
• Good command of spoken Cantonese, English (obtain grade 4 or above in HKDSE or equivalent) and Mandarin;
• Familiar with operation of digital devices, computers, tablets etc. is preferred;
• Mature, able to work independently and self-disciplined;
• Pleasant, outgoing and with good communication skills, confident in presenting interactive and engagement elements;
• With experience of working as docent/ helper/ ambassador in museums, art fairs, or community art projects is an advantage.

Duties:

• Ensure the safety of the exhibits;
• Inspect and report artwork and equipment conditions, annotating concerns and maintenance issues, minor repairing of exhibits;
• Assist in daily operation of the galleries;
• Refill and distribute publicity materials;
• Introduce the exhibition to and answer enquiries from the public
• Conduct guided tours and assist in special programmes at the venue, including preparation work, manning and cleaning up; - Receive guests and manage crowd control; - Assist in documentation (taking photos for exhibition and special programmes);
