Finance Manager - Digital Assets - Hong Kong

- Support finance functions including accounting, payroll, tax and regulatory reporting of various assets and securities
- Support the preparation of all financial statements and timely completion of annual financial audit and statutory/regulatory filings
- Maintaining a close working relationship with external providers such as banks, payroll agent, tax advisors and other vendors and continually monitoring the quality and timeliness of their service delivery
- Design and prepare management reports to support management decisions covering both front and back office
- Work closely with local/ regional management to identify risk areas and ensure timely escalation and remediation where appropriate
- Identify process improvements opportunities and collaborating with other team members and technology team locally and globally to streamline and automate processes
- Bachelors Degree with emphasis in Accounting and CPA Certification
- 5-7 years of accounting experience with Big 4 public accounting experience
- Experience with international Hedge Funds, Investment Management and/or Securities broker, with solid knowledge and experience of related trading, custody and ledger reconciliation systems
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency on Microsoft suite of applications. Experience with Peoplesoft, Power BI, Bloomberg, Concur and Corcentric is a plus
- Regulatory reporting experience and familiar with AMAC and CSRC reporting requirements
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, high energy level, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated analytical skills and impeccable integrity
- An adaptive, flexible style with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential
