Objectives of the Position
Dispersions & Resins division is a leading global supplier of high-quality polymer emulsions, acrylic binders, resins and additives to a wide range of industries, had over 5,900 employees globally in 2023 with global headquarter located in Hong Kong.
As part of the Global Controlling team, you will be reporting to the Head of Global Controlling. You will have the opportunity to take part in financial dashboard development, reporting activities, financial analysis in a global business environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the monthly management reporting to senior management of our global operating division
- Drive digitalization initiatives for reporting and analysis tools
- Develop financial dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI to transform financial data into valuable insights for business steering
- Conduct financial trend and variance analysis to explore opportunities for growth and efficiency
- Participate in global meetings to collaborate with leaders / teams from different regions and functions
- Commitment to a 6-month full-time internship from Jan 2025
- Students of bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or related disciplines
- High proficiency in oral and written English
- Preferably with experience in Data Analysis, Finance and Business Controlling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Knowledge in data visualization tool such as Power BI, understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL) would be preferable
- Ability to think outside of the box and strong analytical mindset
- Self-starter and able to work independently on assigned projects with limited supervision
