Junior Purchasing Coordinator - Hong Kong

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a structured environment. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel and excels at administrative tasks that require precision and consistency. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a supportive team environment and has a proven track record of building trusting and productive relationships.
What you'll do:
- Accurately prepare and execute purchase orders on a weekly basis, communicating effectively and professionally with supplier contacts
- Maximize order fulfillment through efficient management of pre-order holds
- Maintain detailed knowledge of our product catalogue and SKU structures
- Monitor and address demand/supply related problems, optimizing the inventory pipeline
- Assist in preparing ad-hoc reporting on an as-needed basis
- Proactively improve existing processes to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness
What you'll need:
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Availability to work 4–5 hours overlapping with Pacific Standard Time (PST) to ensure smooth communication with our team in Canada.
- Prior administrative work experience or in a related field
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great collaboration skills and a team player
- Capable of identifying issues and problem-solving accordingly
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage a high volume of tasks and deadlines
- Strong fundamental skills in Excel with the ability to navigate through large data sets
- Adaptable to changes in processes while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant fields is a plus but not required
