Junior Web Developer (PHP/CSS/JavaScript)

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Web Developer to join our team. As a Junior Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using PHP, CSS, and Java Script. You will work closely with senior developers to implement new features, fix bugs, and enhance existing functionality. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about web development and eager to expand their skills in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using PHP, CSS, and Java Script.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Implement new features and functionality based on project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying and fixing bugs to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with designers to translate visual designs into functional web pages.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, sharing ideas and suggestions for enhancing development processes and workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
- Proficiency in PHP, CSS, and Java Script, with a solid understanding of their respective ecosystems (libraries, frameworks, build tools, etc.).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS).
- Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Basic understanding of web security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with popular PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony) and CMS platforms (e.g., Word Press).
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Vue.js) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vitejs).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating with third-party services.
- Knowledge of server configuration and deployment processes.
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies.
- A portfolio or examples of previous web development projects.
