The University now invites application for the following position:
(Ref: EO (PV/VPARO) 2024-09-13)
- provide all-round support to the Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) and/ or his delegate in the execution of new initiatives on research development;
- handle research grant applications and project matters;
- handle reimbursement claims and direct payment requests for research activities and projects;
- develop and maintain central databases for grant applications, on-going projects and research publications, and compile statistical reports on research performance and research activities;
- provide administrative support to University committees and other functions of the Office; and
- take up ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Applicants Should
- possess a recognised university degree with at least 4 years of working experience preferably in research grant administration and higher education sector;
- have excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- be highly attentive to details and have the ability to maintain accurate databases and records;
- possess good computer skills and have administrative abilities, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; and
- be a good team player and able to work independently and efficiently.
