Innovation and Technology for Ageing (ITA)

The ITA team of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service works to contribute toward a better and more respectable life by adopting gerontechnology in social service and the community. The ITA promotes cross-disciplinary collaboration and co-creation in driving technology development and application, intending to enhance the well-being, quality of life, independence and self-reliance of the elderly, caregivers and healthcare staff.

Officer (Ref no: HKCSS/093/2024)

Two-year renewable contract

Responsibilities:
To support the development of Innovation and Technology for Ageing (ITA) through different initiatives

To proactively plan, organize and implement tasks/events/seminar to promote awareness and development of the Gerontech adoption by wider community stakeholders through different project themes

To assist in administrative, financial, marketing tasks as well as related document processing

Requirements:
Degree holder in any discipline; Social Work degree a merit

Solid working experience demonstrating strong project/event management and marketing skills is preferable

Previous working experience with NGOs would be a merit

Previous experience in organizing community education programme, conference or exhibition preferred

Mature, independent, detail-minded, multi-tasking, strong sense of responsibility with self-initiative and excellent problem-solving skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)

5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
