What You'll Do

To provide procurement support to internal customers;

To ensure proper execution of contractual commitment by suppliers;

To conduct market research, periodic price reasonableness assessment and cost review;

To make recommendation on vendor selection and contractual protection for procurement related agreements;

To assist/lead studies on cost saving & process improvement initiatives;

To assist mitigation of the safety and sustainability risks of outsourcing.

Handling daily procurement duties, executing projects and leading tender exercises and contract development;

Facilitating operation efficiency with timely response to internal users’ procurement request/enquiries;

Contributing/execution of cost saving initiatives and other procurement strategies;

Understanding supply base and market trend;

Providing constructive feedback to supplier for future development;

Conducting product development and analysis;

Collaborating with teams and Influencing relevant stakeholders effectively.

What You Need
1. Functional and other Relevant Experience

Minimum 3-4 years working experience for Procurement Executive

Product & market knowledge in related category of purchases is an advantage.

2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

A recognized bachelor degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management or other related discipline.

Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving technique

Professional qualification with membership in purchasing and supply related institute is preferred.

Self-motivated, well organized, analytical and result-oriented

Proficient in MS Office applications

Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written. Putonghua would be an added advantage

Reporting to team leaders at senior staff level, the incumbent will handle daily procurement requests of the assigned categories. He/she will lead sourcing processes, including supplier prequalification, evaluation and risk assessment to ensure procurement activities are carried out in fair, reasonable, transparent, cost effective and sustainable manner.
