Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center Limited (MRC) was established by the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in collaboration with ETH Zürich, Imperial College London, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Hong Kong. MRC focusing on technological innovation with a strong emphasis on clinical translation and direct patient benefits, serves as a synergistic platform for clinicians, engineers and researchers from local and overseas universities to work together and forge new ways to translate biomedical engineering research innovations into medical practices.
We are looking for a high caliber candidate to join the administrative team located at Hong Kong Science Park. The appointee will work in a number of administrative and financial disciplines closely with internal and external parties at different levels.
Job Responsibilities
- Providing executive support to the Centre and the research teams in administration and finance;
- Handling financial transactions and procedures, and budget monitoring;
- Compiling and analyzing various statistical data for planning and reporting purposes;
- Performing procurement and logistics management of materials and equipment;
- Supporting company’s activities and event coordination;
- Performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- A good Bachelor’s degree;
- At least 2 years’ post-qualification executive work experience;
- An excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
- A strong sense of responsibility and accuracy, and willingness to work hard and learn;
- The ability to multi-task, and work independently and proactively;
- Experience in event planning and management will be advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
We offer 5-day work, attractive remuneration package to the successful candidate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
