The appointee will play an integral role in the preparation of the Research and Departmental Review
for our department, as well as contributing to the development of our strategic research focus areas,
which currently include Environmental Health and STEM Education. The appointee will assist
Project Leaders and other team members by providing technical support in designing and
implementing various aspects of the RAE 2026. This will involve tasks such as identifying key
research outputs, preparing impactful case studies, collating essential data and evidence to
substantiate research outputs and case studies, cooperating with colleagues for peer reviews,
converting science research into teaching materials, and constructing websites for the department.
Additionally, the appointee will play a role in the development and enhancement of our department's
strategic research areas, particularly in Environmental Health and STEM Education. The
appointment will be for a period of approximately 12 months.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Education / Environment / Science or
related disciplines, with at least three years of full-time working experience. A strong command of
both written and spoken English is essential. They should possess a solid understanding of research
methodologies. Proficiency in IT and skills in constructing websites will be an advantage. They
should also demonstrate excellent teamwork abilities, attentive to details, highly self-motivated, and
able to work efficiently under pressure.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include leave and
