The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organization promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic and high caliber candidate to join our Merchandise Trade and Innovation Department.
Duration: 3 months
Responsibilities:

• To assist Project Managers in the overall planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotional events
• To provide clerical and logistics support for organizing trade promotional projects
• To assist in consolidating and updating project data and delegate information
• To liaise and maintain close contact with delegates and potential exhibitors
• To handle enquiries from event and undertake on-site duties
• To perform administrative duties such as handling reports, filing system and meeting schedules

Requirements:

• University graduate with prior experience in Event Management/ Marketing/ Project Management is preferred
• Interest in data analysis and direct communication with customers is preferred
• Proactive, self-initiated, and very attentive to details
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word-Processing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
