The Organisation
Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) is a nature conservation and education centre that spreads over 148 hectares of land on the northern slopes of Tai Mo Shan, Hong Kong's highest mountain. It lies in a valley, with a stream running down through the diverse (sub)tropical forest. You can find theme gardens, greenhouses, vegetable, and fruit terraces, walking trails, and public education displays of plants and animals, whilst the largest part of the estate is managed as a nature reserve.
Our team consists of educators, ecologists, botanists, zoologists, conservation officers, spatial analysts, veterinarians, geneticists, arborists, horticulturists, gardeners, animal keepers, farmers, communicators and marketeers. Lessons learnt from hundreds of projects and initiatives are used to raise awareness, educate the public and catalyse behaviour change to protect nature and the environment.
Every Sunday, up to 100 Domestic Migrant Workers are visiting KFBG and we are looking for a project manager who will support promoting well-being programs/events/activities for the physical and mental health of Migrant Domestic workers (MDW) in Hong Kong. The manager will report to the Head of Department (Ho D) of CPAR and will also work with other staff at KFBG.

Role and responsibilities
Develop and manage MDW Community Network for programs/ events/ activities
- Develop, organize, and promote a "Community leader scheme" through a series of reward and recognition programs as an incentive to entice and recruit them.
- Work closely with the Community leaders for intense relationship building among the MWD Community Network of diverse interests.
- Build and manage including daily maintenance of the Whats App Communities as the main communication channel of MDW Community Network for different programs/events/activities, mainly for information dissemination, program recruitment, program/event/activities updates, and logistic arrangement/gathering feedback.
- Boost programs/events/activities registration to ensure sufficient enrollment numbers.
- Familiarize with the use of social media platforms / Whats App Communities, create interesting and relevant content to reach the target audience, broadcast news and updates.
- Widespread the programs/events/activities news through different promotional channels such as social media platforms, magazines, and other promotional/communication channels
- Outreaching church communities for joint programs/ events
- Building long-term relationships with various consulates to help promote this Community network
- Follow up on the registration status and handle transportation arrangements.
- Participate in all the programs/ events/ activities to ensure smooth implementation, participants' satisfactory level and gauze feedback
- Manage and maintain the Database with segmentation for effective communication purposes.
Requirements:
- A university degree is preferred but not a must
- 5-6 years of Marketing and promotion and/or event management and/or CRM experience
- Good project management skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Communication skills in Tagalog or Bahasa Indonesia will be an important bonus
- Well-organized and detailed minded
- Willingness to work irregular hours and on Sundays, or holidays. These Sundays will be compensated by leave on other days
