Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref: 528863), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector;
A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
Self-motivated, attentive to details, and able to prioritise multiple tasks effectively;
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines;
Good interpersonal, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills; and
Proficiency in IT especially in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Responsibilities
The appointee will provide a wide range of administrative and clerical support to the Student Team on undergraduate programmes, including handling admissions, student matters, and day-to-day enquiries; providing general support to committees; organizing academic activities and events; and performing any other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of the basic salary.
