Senior Officer, Building Rehabilitation (BMGSNO)

The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

To assist in the implementation and promotion of the Building Maintenance Grant Scheme for Needy Owners (BMGSNO)
To assist in monitoring and administering the process of applications
To assist in ensuring the grant applications are properly checked and handled in accordance with the internal control procedures and timeline
To maintain accurate and up-to-date database of each grant application received and approved
To meet with grantees on signing of grant applications on-site during or after office hours

Requirements:

Degree /Associate Degree / Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in relevant building/ construction profession, housing management, surveying, customer service or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
Experience in customer services would be an advantage
