Senior Project Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and direct various projects within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record in project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and implementation of project initiatives.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively manage project budget and resource allocation.
• Facilitate the definition of project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Ensure timely and effective delivery of projects in line with scope and budget.
• Manage stakeholder communication and ensure ongoing engagement.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably in an IT environment.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

Additional Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
• Strong understanding of IT and business interface and integration strategies.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
