(Senior) Sales Manager - Travel Trade

ALVA HOTEL BY ROYAL is a new 618-room premium hotel, strategically located along the scenic Shing Mun River in Shatin, a dynamic attraction in Hong Kong known for its cultural and refreshing neighbourhood with 40 minutes away from Hong Kong International Airport by car. The Hotel offers guest-centric technology, innovative dining and accessible luxury with a modern lifestyle hospitality concept designed specifically for the mobile and adventurous travellers. It has four restaurants and bars, a well-equipped gym, a rooftop thermostatic swimming pool and more.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Closely monitors accounts revenue and business production for T/T and Wholesale accounts.
  • Forecasts groups and Wholesale room nights and ADR.
  • Attends major travel functions and promotional events to promote sales for the hotel.
  • Plans and executes sales trips to major market areas and reports to the Director of Sales / Director of Sales & Marketing on new potential markets that should be covered.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree holder in Hospitality Management or relevant disciplines
  • With a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in hotel sales, travel agent segment
  • Good knowledge of market trend research and market intelligence
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication abilities across functions and with customers
  • Ambitious with strong drive to achieve targets, revenue and profits
  • Result-oriented, self-motivated and out-going personality
  • Proficient in computer knowledge with good presentation and problem solving skills
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
