We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sports & Recreation Manager to lead our diverse sports and recreation facilities at Ladies' Recreation Club. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, fostering community engagement, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our members. You will work closely with various stakeholders to develop innovative programs, coordinate events, and implement strategic initiatives that enhance our sports offerings.

Job Responsibilities:
Oversee all areas of sports and recreation facilities and venues, including the Fitness Centre, Sports Desk, Sports Hall, Sports Shop, Bowling Alley, Libraries, Swimming Pools, Tennis Courts, Card Room, Squash Courts and Spa.
Develop and implement strategic plans for recreational programs and facilities that align with club goals and exceed guest expectations, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience for all members.
Work in liaison with various convenors to coordinate sports and recreation facilities, activities, and events, enhancing guest engagement through innovative offerings and personalized experiences while implementing continuous improvements based on member feedback.
Manage recreational facilities by overseeing maintenance, cleanliness, safety protocols, and accessibility to ensure a safe and enjoyable enviornment for all members.
Provide leadership and guidance to recreation staff by fostering effective teamwork, facilitating training programs, and supporting professional development to ensure the delivery of high-quality quest experiences.
Develop and manage the recreation budget by monitoring experses and optimizing resource allocation to achieve financial goals and enhance operational efficiency.
Address member complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring effective resolution to maintain high levels of member satisfaction and trust.
Assist in enforcing club rules and policies, conducting investigations as necessary to ensure compliance and uphold the integrity of the club environment.

Job Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of relevant managerial experience in a sports club.
Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management / Sports Administration or a related field.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Efficient in handling complaints and problem analysis with continuous improvement skills.
Fluent spoken and written English.
A background in tennis is essential.
