Our growing Production support team is looking for an SME for our challenging Applications Support Sr Analyst role.
Global Production Assurance (GPA) function under Technology department is providing ongoing support activities to our internal clients. As part of GPA’s portfolio one can see Application and Infrastructure support, Architecture teams, Automation activities, and a lot else.
GPA is global across the globe – we have presence in multiple continents, and lot of countries so you can grow both vertically and horizontally in this environment.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Development and upkeep of the technical support documentation.
  
• Professional review of new developments before the implementation, taking into account the production environment regulations.
  
• Identification of the potential issues in the Production environment (Preventive), initiating the Investigation process, supervising the Repair process.
  
• Prepare development suggestions to optimize / automate batch processing within the application.
  
• In the event of a business outage, participating of the investigation's calls, expert technical assistance to resolve the situation, keeping in mind the Business Area, Citi and the Audit processes / interests.
  
• Regularly report to the Direct manager (s) and the Support manager (s) on ongoing items and plans.
  

Qualifications we need:

• 3-5 years experience in an Applications Support or Application Development role is a must
  
• Familiar with Microsoft Office or equivalent packages in the use of Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentation tools, Collaboration sites, Email etc.
  
• Hands-on Unix and ETL system experience is needed
  
• Good Oracle/Sybase database experience is also required
  
• Basic knowledge of middleware technologies (eg. Web Sphere, Tomcat or similar)
  
• Fluency in English
  
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
