Munch Market is an online marketplace offering discounted near-expiry, cosmetically imperfect, and seasonal products with convenient collection points or home delivery options , benefiting consumers and addressing waste. Its primary clients include manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and e-commerce businesses, championing sustainability and affordability in shopping. ️
We are seeking a dynamic Innovation Associate to drive creative marketing campaigns, craft engaging content, and support strategic initiatives, while also playing a key role in shaping our surprise packages and optimizing operations across multiple departments!

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

• Creating the concept of surprise packages
• Writing marketing descriptions
• Updating content in the description
• Configuring packages in warehouse software
• Writing push notification copy for campaigns based on the guidance of the HU Marketing Manager/Accountable person
• Writing email texts for campaigns based on the guidance of the HU Marketing Manager/Accountable person
• Preparing and researching information for PR materials for Manager
• Identifying PR/Guerrilla marketing opportunities and conveying to Manager
• Facilitating user-generated content (e.g., posting in Facebook groups)
• Preparing physical and digital materials for various market-specific campaigns (flyers, one-pagers, landing page concepts)
• Collecting customer feedback on Market packages (quantitative, qualitative)

Founder Associate Tasks

• Preparing numbers and data from multiple sources for the weekly management meeting, following Manager's guidance
• Creating presentations for the monthly all-hands meeting with Manager (I’ll make the draft, and then you can design it visually in PPT)
• Organizing contracts, keeping new contracts in order, organizing the Data Room (where all invoices are uploaded, for example)
• Mapping international practices
• Potential task: Organizing the delivery of fruit and vegetable boxes, forwarding reports

Procurement Associate Tasks

• Identifying potential partners, competitor analysis

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Fluency in Hungarian and English.
• Ability to work minimum of 25 hours per week with flexibility around school schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and marketing copy.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts and tools (e.g., social media, email campaigns, push notifications).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point) and familiarity with presentation creation.
• Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented, especially when working with data and preparing reports.
• Creative thinking, with a proactive attitude in identifying marketing opportunities.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with different departments.
• Knowledge of PR and guerrilla marketing is a plus, but not required.
