We are looking for a Junior Java Developer to join our team, on a framework development to provide common services and uniform look and feel to several other services in the telecommunications sector. This position involves close collaboration with our customer and the development team to deliver effective solutions.

Key tasks:

• Collaborate with our development team to execute projects based on specifications provided by the client.
• Provide consulting expertise on solutions to other technical teams.
• Investigate fundamental issues and implement algorithms and solutions.
• Take responsibility for testing tasks, ensuring quality and performance.
• Engage in a cross-functional development team following the Scrum methodology.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in products and processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in Java development, with familiarity in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Basic understanding of relational database management systems, particularly My SQL.
• Openness to learning full-stack development (currently using Angular).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork and independence.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS AND EXPERIENCE

• Familiarity with Angular or other Java Script-based frameworks.
• Experience with build configuration tools like Maven and version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and end-to-end testing.
• Understanding of Dev Ops practices.
