An Operations Manager is someone who manages and leads the Operations team and supports HR, adult education and back-office activities. They motivate team members and assess performance. Provide help to management, including hiring and training, and keep management updated on team performance.


Your tasks:

• Leading and managing main operational and back-office processes (procurement, contracting, adult education administration, student lifecycle management, etc.)
• Supervising adult education processes with special attention to compliance with the Hungarian Adult Education law and the provision of data.
• Supervising HR, outsourcing HR and recruitment activities
• Manages the team (1on1 sessions, assesses individual performance, etc), supporting team members in solving challenging cases.
• Monitoring and optimising the workload of the team
• Handling team members' salaries and raises
• Creating new and updating existing student contract templates
• Handling student contract amendments with the company’s lawyer
• Represents adult education standpoints when working with other departments (product, marketing, student admissions, education) on new initiatives
• Optimizing and automating back office processes
• Working closely with the developer team in order to maintain and improve back office processes
• Managing the collection of overdue tuition fee receivables with the involvement of the finance department and the company’s counsel
Keeping contact with the company's GDPR lawyer

You could be a great fit for this role, if:
✔️You have good people skills and can manage a team of 2-6
✔️You have experience in team leading
✔️You have very strong ‘operative skills’ and hands-on experience
✔️You drive process changes with medium/large impact. You're able to do project management with minimal guidance.
✔️You have good overview of processes
✔️You have experience with contract management
✔️You speak fluent Hungarian and advanced English
