Basic Purpose of Role

Senior HR Manager is to lead and manage the human resources functions within the organization, ensuring that HR strategies align with the overall business goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Be a trusted advisor to the business providing guidance, insights and solutions for matters across the HR agenda.

• Develop and deploy HR programs and processes, in alignment with organization goals, industry best practices and local labour laws.

• Partner with the HR Centrer of Excellence such as Talent Acquisition, Total Reward, Talent Development, Talent Mobilization, Benefits, Diversity & Inclusiveness and HR Services to support the business on key processes and initiatives throughout the year.

• Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.

• Providing local HR support and advice to management.

• Collaborating with our nearshore and offshore HR transactional services teams to ensure all processes, administration and payroll input is managed effectively and in alignment with global standards and local requirements

• Ensuring HR compliance, safeguarding employee relations, and maintaining frameworks and company policies aligned to the local legislation and employee representative.

• Maintaining and developing HR policies, ensuring these are up to date and aligned with global standards.

• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement in efficiency of services performed.

• Prepare and participate in internal and external audits and labour law related audits when required as a partner to the HRBPs.

• Support new HR systems implementation (e.g. Workday).

• Manages a team or HR professionals, make sure they have clear roles and responsibilities, manages goal definitions and monitor performance and associates career development.

• Coordinate HR events, support employee engagement programs.

• Other adhoc tasks.

Requirements:

• At least 10-15 years of experience as HR Manager/ HR Lead or other HR Executive roles

• People-oriented and results-driven personality

• Bachelor’s degree in Human resources management or Economics or related field

• Fluent Hungarian and fluent business English skills

• Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics

• Knowledge of HR systems and databases

• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

• Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

• In-depth knowledge of Hungarian labor law and HR best practices
