Our Miskolc facility is a key regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base. We are seeking a Tool & Equipment Designer to join our team.

We are seeking a Tool & Equipment Designer to join our team.
What will you be doing in this role? :
- construction of tools, instrumentation and gauges for production purposes
- introducing changes and improvements in the existing constructions of instrumentation and machines, improving the conditions of production processes and optimizing costs
- cooperation with other departments of the company to ensure the efficiency, quality and continuity of work and production processes (including in emergency situations)
- standardization of construction solutions and improvement of the construction process
- participation in tests of the constructed instrumentation
- supplementing and supervising data contained in databases
- higher technical education or during graduation - preferred majors: mechanics and mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or Robotic
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position (preferably the automotive industry)
- very good knowledge of the technical drawing, including the principles of dimensioning and tolerancing
- practical knowledge of materials science, mechanics and strength of materials
- experience in working with 3D CAD systems (Creo Parametric preferred)
- knowledge of manufacturing processes
- good knowledge of the English language
