You will be working with the Application Engineering Team in Bengaluru.
This team runs on a hustle mindset with an objective to increase Exponent Energy’s market share in the city of Bengaluru and beyond and help more people adapt to 15-minute rapid charging technology achieved by our Flexible Energy Stack, which consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with OEMs to understand requirements and define the Architecture needed
• Define Sub-System Requirements: Break down system-level requirements into sub-system requirements.
• Work with the OEM and with individual sub-system owners till the end of production. Do whatever is needed to get there.
• Plan integration of Exponent products in OEM vehicles
• Setup integration and testing
• Establish the right test standards
• Run integration FMEA, plan EVTs, and prepare comprehensive reports
• Plan and execute document closures and take the OEM to production with Exponent products
• Work with OEMs for sustenance on the field
• Raise bugs, assign them to relevant sub-systems, and prioritize
• Work with the right people on RCAs and resolve bugs
• Make sure the product meets all specifications

The ideal candidate requires:

• Good experience working on hardware, firmware, and software
• Good understanding of mechanical aspects of a product ( Thermal, IP etc)
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Hands-on experience with EVs
• Good understanding of automotive technology
• Should understand specifications and should have a tendency to ask “Why”
• Must be nimble and adaptive to changes both at Exponent and OEM
• 3 to 5 years of experience
