Job Description:

Job Purpose

To act as a bridge and maintain effective relations on the shop floor by proactively developing better understanding between workers, supervisors and aligning stakeholders with management expectations. Further, to ensure timely redressal of grievances for Wool Business, Engineering, Weaving, Warehouse, Dye House, General. To also plan and ensure availability of required manpower (workers) for smooth running of the machine and better production and organizing welfare activities.

KRA1

Harmonious Industrial Relation

â€¢ Ensure timely redressal of grievances on the spot
â€¢ Promote and follow a proactive approach that aims at zero dispute
â€¢ Oversee overtime and absenteeism of the departments and address any discrepancies in data submitted
â€¢ Collaborate with department heads to ensure optimal distribution of workload and overtime
â€¢ Address issues and queries related to documentation of workmen

KRA2

Workmen Development

â€¢ Identify skill sets of workers, create a pool of workers for multiskilling and plan for effective utilization of multiskilled workmen in coordination with that particular department
â€¢ Coordinate with training department to implement OJT (On-the-job training)

KRA3

Co-ordination with Legal Counsel

â€¢ Liaise and maintain good relations with the legal authority for timely settlement of issue in our favour

KRA4

Hygiene Condition Maintenance

â€¢ Ensure adherence to hygiene guidelines (OHSAS 18001 Guidelines) in various areas like canteen
â€¢ Oversee timely distribution of food stuff to the department and from the counter

Welfare Activities

â€¢ Organize various events for welfare of the workforce
â€¢ Coordinate and identify vendors to implement the same

Qualifications:

MBA

Minimum Experience Level:
10-15 Years
