DESCRIPTION

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Home Loan Services team, which is responsible for Documentation Specialist assists multiple roles within Home Loans by categorizing and labeling documentation uploaded to a loan file within the LOS. Documentation Specialist manages a document inbox for rush and/or bulk requests, and labels documents per taxonomy. Specialists ensure all documents are legible and clean to remain compliant with mortgage documentation needs.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo. This is a Team Supervisor position at Director level within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Thoroughly review incoming documentation for any potential legibility issues

• Monitor a document inbox for bulk or rush requests.

• Will play an integral part in assisting with document management by labeling incoming documents.

• Transfer acceptable and valid documentation from a prior loan for a re-application.

• Partner with Home Loans to provide feedback via document labeling when uploaded documentation is illegible and/or further documentation is needed.

• Proactively identify document indexes and update any as needed.

• Provide management feedback when issues arise that could prevent the loan from closing on time.

• Proactively assist mortgage partners by ensuring all document labeling is completed in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Proficient typing skills

• Basic analytical experience

• Able to prioritize responsibilities and adhere to deadlines.

• Deep understanding of acceptable mortgage loan documentation

• Strong interpretation skills for examination of documentation

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook

• Strong communication skills
