What's your new role about?

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

• Experience on Smart TVs (e.g. Samsung Tizen, LG Web OS, Panasonic), set-top boxes (e.g. Sky Q, Movi Star) or game consoles (e.g. Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox).
• Previous experience in video playback and OTT (Streaming Protocols: DASH, HLS, MSS. DRM) on web or connected devices.
• Vanilla Java Script/Type Script (should be comfortable working without frameworks like React, Angular etc)
• Spike Driven Development Mindset (curious, inquisitive, and persistent)
• Performance Mindset
It’s desirable, but not essential (we can teach you), if you have:
• Experience with the MSE/EME APIs or related players (e.g. Shaka) and native players (e.g. AVPlay, Hls Player)
• Reactive Programming (We use Rx Js)
• Testing, CI/CD APM tools (We use Conviva, New Relic) (Other examples: App Dynamics, Splunk, etc.)
• Experience maintaining JS libraries
• Ad Tech (Dynamic Ad Insertion, Pre-rolls, VAST)
