Distribution System Expert / Team Leader (International)

Job Description

The Distribution System Expert will also serve as the Team Leader and will be responsible for overseeing the entire project, including the management of staff, project planning, and the timely delivery of project outputs. This individual will coordinate all activities between project stakeholders and provide leadership in project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Project Implementation Support Consultant (PISC) team to ensure successful project delivery.
Mobilize resources and monitor progress across all work packages.
Coordinate with PTCUL, contractors, ADB, and other stakeholders.
Ensure timely completion of project milestones and contract management tasks.
Supervise the construction and commissioning of EHV substations and lines.
Implement project management processes and quality assurance mechanisms.

Location of Job: Uttarakhand, India
Work Experience: Minimum 15 years of consulting or utility experience
Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Power Engineering; MBA or Master's in Management/Engineering preferred. • Minimum 15 years of consulting or utility experience, with 10+ years in the power transmission sector. • International project experience, with at least one project in India and one abroad. • Proven project management skills, including experience with EHV substations and lines (400 KV and below). • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
