Environmental Health & Safety Management Consultant (National)

Job Description

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Management Consultant will be responsible for overseeing the environmental and safety management aspects of the project. This includes ensuring compliance with environmental management plans, health, and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety (EHS) standards.
Collect data and track project performance related to environmental health & safety risks.
Conduct site visits to assess EHS compliance and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
Ensure project staff and contractors adhere to EHS guidelines.
Establish benchmarks for EHS performance and report to project management.

Location of Job: Uttarakhand, India
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience
Candidate Profile: Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, or related fields. • Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing safeguards for projects of similar scale and complexity. • Strong knowledge of EHS guidelines and monitoring practices. • Fluency in English and Hindi preferred; additional certification in EHS is a plus.
