Multiple Openings: Eli Lilly and Company seeks an Engineer (R1-R4) to establish and maintain the reliable operation and qualified state of equipment and business processes. Establish and monitor control systems as a tool for verifying and optimizing equipment performance. Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems. Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks. Execute engineering proof of concept studies. Ensure that equipment is compliance and capable of meeting customer needs while driving continuous improvement efforts. Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve equipment and operational problems and apply formal problem-solving techniques, including Root Cause Analysis, to resolve equipment issues. Apply interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team-based environment. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering field and 1 year of academic or employment experience with computer aided design tools and programming/debugging vision systems. Academic or employment experience must include a minimum of: 1 year of experience with standard automation Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) or comparable programming experience; 1 year of experience with troubleshooting servo drive motion systems; 1 year of experience with applying statistical methods to engineering studies, protocols, and reports; and 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. #LI-DNI
