What You Will Do

As an Automation Testing Engineer you'll craft software tools and scripts to amplify our automated testing framework, seamlessly integrating functional, integration, and performance testing within our Continuous Integration System. Your role involves designing, coding, and validating automated tests for new features, enhancements, and products. Execute test plans, track and verify fixes, and maintain top-notch automation code quality through innovative testing techniques. Work successfully with developers, Dev Ops, and project managers, playing a key role in delivering exceptional products to a diverse range of customers.

Design, plan, code and validate automated tests for software components, feature enhancements or new products
Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed
Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated test suites and with the Release Engineering team to build and deploy the automation build on QA or release or production servers
Trace the test results on the regularly-scheduled test updates and results back to specific quality risks promptly
Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

BS / B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech / M.S. in Computer Science Engineering/ Computer Science Related or an equivalent degree
1 to 2 years of experience in white box testing and load testing effort
At least 6 months of experience in writing End to End UI test automation for web applications using Cypress and Javascript
Experience in testing web applications for cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues
Experience in automating testing efforts for Web applications and Services/APIs
Experience in Authentication and Authorization and web security testing
Good understanding of the role of automated testing within the software development lifecycle
Experience working in Agile scrum or extreme programming environments, a participant in estimation and planning.
Professional experience in creating frameworks to run performance tests

About Your Location

Onsite / Hybrid

Under a flexible work arrangement (hybrid), this resource primarily supports the AECO Sector and works collaboratively across with other Trimble teams.

In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time working in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 1-3 days per week, or 20%-60% of the month in the office.
